This 90 minute tour is for those with an adventurous soul, who seek the thrill of riding an electric fat tyre bike under the dark sky of night, whilst taking in Galway city and its coastal surroundings. Places of interest will be highlighted as we travel.
Our new fleet of RadRhino bikes meet all road safety requirements which afford us the comfort and time to fit alot in to this magical night tour.
Night Tour 7pm - starts and finishes at CAPPAGH PARK.
The tour starts with a ride through Barna woods, our trail lit brightly by our lights. A short cycle along the Wild Atlantic Way brings us to Salthills' famous promenade, where we'll ride alongside the ocean into the city. Here we'll take in the sights surrounding Spanish Arch and Eyre Square. We'll then cycle alongside the gentle flow of Eglinton Canal which leads us to the West End. Here we'll pass some fine restaurants before following the River Corrib towards the ocean.
Our return journey via Salthill allows you to experience again the world renowned Galway Bay and brings this thrilling night of adventure to a close.
Other things to note:
Guests should be comfortable riding a bike at NIGHT on roads with traffic. The electric bike will assist pedalling so fitness level is NOT important. Please use the equipment checklist to ensure you have the appropriate clothing / items as this will maximize comfort and enjoyment.

I moved to Galway in 1996 and have enjoyed everything it offers in abundance ever since. The great outdoors is my passion, so I couldn’t have chosen a better place living by the ocean, whilst only a stones throw away from the mountains and the magical Connemara. I’ve enjoyed over 20 years of adventure within this wonderful region, have climbed most of the peaks, paddled the rivers and lakes, cycled the valleys and greenways, often combining these activities on very special big days out. I’d like to share my enthusiasm and knowledge with you, in the hope you’ll appreciate and enjoy the things you see, open your mind to new experiences and maybe provide some inspiration for your own dreams one day.

Galway is a beautiful and vibrant city. It's filled with people, laughter, music, bars, restaurants and plenty of Guinness. These many things provide a wonderful atmosphere, which you’ll experience during the night tour. We cycle through and around the very heart of the city, whilst taking in the surrounding waterways. Our ocean cycle both into Galway and return home via Salthill is breathtaking, whether ridden by day or night.

- A great experience on 2 fronts. Firstly, the "fat tyre" bike is a dream to ride. It's like sitting in an armchair and easy to get the hang of. Secondly, Galway at night is magical -winding our way through paths around Blsackrock and later along the canals was really special. A beautiful trip.
- Absolutely fantastic experience in this magical bike ride through Galway city at night. I would highly recommend this tour. The host was superb and really knew his stuff. It was so good that I have now booked the afternoon tour for next week. This is a must do experience. Thank you Martin.
