This experience puts together 2 of Barcelona's main attractions, food and architecture, all in one enjoyable afternoon. We will discover Spain's delectable gastronomy by eating a lot of tapas at 3 different restaurants. We will learn everything there is to know about local gastronomy and we will have a good time. Barcelona is a vibrant city full of history as well as contemporary architecture. We will learn about Barcelona's history through its architecture from the Roman foundation of the city, walking along its narrow streets, finding the best gothic and medieval architecture, refurbished turn-of-century markets, Modernist masterpieces, all the way to some of the iconic architecture of the 21st century.
I'm a local architect with a passion for food! I love eating out delicious meals and showing my friends and guests the lovely architecture that Barcelona has to offer. I love trying to decipher all layers that have occupied the different spaces of the city through time. As a food lover I keep a restaurant review blog where I discover and try the tastiest restaurants in Barcelona and abroad. I'm on the hunt for the best "vermut" and the best value lunch menu. I took my master's degree in Architecture at UPC BarcelonaTECH where I acquired an intrinsic architectural knowledge about Barcelona.
