In this fun class, you will learn how to make both sweet and savory crepes. You will also learn about the rich history of the region Brittany, France where the crepe originated.
We start by learning how to masterfully prepare the batter. Next we will learn the technique that creates the perfect crepe.
As the main course, we will make a classic savory ham and swiss cheese crepe or "galette".
Second, we will make the traditionally sweet crepe.
Come hungry! You will definitely make enough crepes to keep you full.
*If you have a gluten sensitivity, you can always substitute flour for gluten-free flour.
Other things to note
If you plan to use a hot plate outside of the kitchen setting, make sure to use a well ventilated room when cooking.
If you have gluten-sensitivities you can find gluten-free flour at your local super market.
Nutella is optional. It is a staple with the crepe. But it is not required.

I come from a multicultural family and grew up with food that literally comes from opposite sides of the planet. My mother is French and my Father is Japanese. Over the last few years I have made it my mission to carry on my mother's French heritage of making crepes. I've enjoyed making crepes for my family and friends. I want people to know the deliciousness that crepes are. But now I'd like to share with the world the joy of not only eating fresh crepes but making them. - This is a great Friday evening activity. Pour a glass of wine and learn how to make yummy savory & sweet crepes. Neal makes it very easy and I liked the relaxed pace of the class.
