Welcome to Indian kitchen!
Welcome to my vegetarian Indian kitchen. During this experience you will learn the secrets of making Indian mini meals & delicious desserts and I will walk you through each steps of the recipe. While the desserts are being cooked I will be happy to talk about Indian culture and the history of the desserts we are cooking.

I will send you all recipes, after the experience, so you can repeat and recreate those dishes for your family & friends

Hello,I am Ballu! I come from Bundi, one the most beautiful towns in Rajasthan. I grew up in a tiny village close to Bundi, Sitapura. This is where I learned traditional cooking from my family, specifically with my grandmother. Several years ago, I came to Jaipur to study and enjoyed living with other students from all over the world. I was cooking for them, they loved it and wanted me to cook every weekend! I have enjoyed sharing my traditional tribal cuisine and giving cooking lessons to friends and recently guests. My guests have given me rave reviews and made comments like, “best food I have eaten in India” on Airbnb. I have as much fun teaching as they do cooking and learning!

    Balram was great teacher and the food we made was delicious. The recipes were complex but he did a great job of making it easy. We did it as a private event for family on Christmas and he was very accommodating.

    We really enjoyed Balram's class! I have never quite been able to master Indian cooking, and Balram did a great job teaching us about layering spices and how to make both familiar dishes (galub jamon) and something new to us (stuffed parata). We will definitely make the dishes again!

    My husband and I spent part of our Thanksgiving learning how to make gulab jamuns and rice pudding. Balram was very patient and well-organized. He made it easy for us to follow his instructions. Both dishes that we made tasted and smelled wonderful! We’d love to have another opportunity to learn from Balram in the future. We highly recommend him. Marte and James

    Really enjoyed this experience. Gulab Jamun is one of my favourite Indian desserts so it was lovely being able to make this myself. Balram was a good host and very patient and i enjoyed hearing about how he got into cooking. Would definitely recommend.
