Possessed by a passion for Korean history, I spent five years intensely researching it, particularly the history of Seoul. I always hope to share my local culture and history with travelers, whether I am here in Korea or on a trip abroad. Understand the history of Jongno, Hanyang, and old Seoul with digital media like black-and-white photos. The more you know about Seoul, the more you can truly enjoy it.
Hi, I am your Seoul trip-keeper. Korean history and nature are fascinating to a lot of people, but not everyone knows how to properly experience them. I have created a Changdeokgung guidebook to help foreigners experience the real stories and history of the city, such as the origin of the Blue House (the home of the Korean President). Since 2015, I've researched a lot of Seoul's and Korea's history. You can know a story about the Blue House and look around the city, listening to its amazing history.

Changdeokgung—a UNESCO heritage site—was a major gung, or palace, during the Joseon dynasty (before modern Korea). You may already know of the more-famous Gyeongbokgung, but Changdeokgung was actually in use for a much longer time.
