As the most consumed drink in the world after water, the process that each coffee bean undergoes to produce a cup is of little mastery, that is why by providing an adequate sensory experience people will be able to know not only the history but the entire chain of Coffee, as well as creating respect and being more responsible and sustainable when drinking coffee.

You will learn how to taste 5 different coffee beans from several origins using a spoon. Together, we will explore its sensory categories of: aroma, flavor, aftertaste, acidity, body, and balance. The participant will be able to live an experience with each one, to perceive the different attributes that each coffee has and to discover if it is a good quality coffee; You will also learn how to taste and differentiate a good coffee from a commercial coffee.
"The main objective is for the person to be able to describe what they perceive from the moment they try the coffee.

After coffee sensory tasting session, you will learn about coffee brewing and extractions to know how to brew great coffee at home. Get to brew your own cup of coffee so you can share with your friends.

I'm Nicolas Constantin (@7seasbartender), have been on the hospitality business for 20+ years. Worked as barista and bartender mostly on luxury cruise ships and yathcs. Visited more than 800 different bars throughout the world sailing on Compagnie du Ponant expedition ships. I also work as an Asian beverage & bar consultant. Coffee obsessive.

We will taste the coffee in Ponderosa Rum and Cocktails, a place that beside having one of the biggest collections of rum in Spain also posses all the coffee brewing tools as well as the necessary space. It's also easy to find and very close to the main transport means.

Very nice coffee tasting with Nicolas. Location was great too and we had some great time there! Definitely recommande it :)
