Hello! I'm a Jewish-Australian puppeteer living in Berlin, Germany. I make my living in this cultural melting pot working with puppets for both kids & adults.
I will introduce you to some of my favourite puppets & tell you some stories about travelling the world and doing shows in theatres, circus & even in the jungle!
Together we are going to make creative holiday puppets from recycled materials. We will make special Christmas elves and Hanukkah puppets celebrating the festival of lights.
This activity is great for friends and families wanting connect remotely over the holidays, team building for professionals, cultural institutions and parties.
Your brand new puppet friend will make a great gift for Christmas or Hanukkah or you can create your very own puppet show for your captive audience during the holidays. :)
I can be totally flexible with group bookings, feel free to suggest the time that suits you best and I'll create a custom session for you. When booking, please let me know a little bit about who will be attending so I can make it as relevant as possible.
Bookings are per participant and kids under 2 can play along for free, though they will need constant adult assistance.

I am a puppeteer with over ten years' experience. I've worked on shows in museums, circuses, festivals, theatres and on TV. I've brought giant rabbits, dragons, dinosaurs, snakes and spirits to life in over 7 countries. In Australia I ran my own pop up puppet theatre called Umbrella Theatre, and was an ensemble member of Sydney Opera House's Creative Play program for kids. In Germany I've taught puppet making at Zirkus Cabuwazi, worked with the Puppenphilarmonie and am a member of Puppetry Slam Deutschland.

- Shani is super fun, leading our 9-year-old and her friend in a puppet-making project where they could each indulge in their creativity their own way. She taught the girls about prototyping during the brainstorming process, showed them examples, and even taught them how to speak a little German. This was a great rainy day activity and they're looking forward to doing it again.
