Between 2001 and 2006, in Paris, I drank the best hot chocolate in my life and also learnt how to make it. Since then, my teacher has retired, but I keep drinking the best hot chocolate in my life. I couldn't find it anywhere else, so I make it myself, usually in order to offer it. The ancient recipe is quite simple, in fact. Anyone can learn in half an hour.

We can also perform this brief communal ritual in any other kitchen of the world or even improvise one when needed. Heat needed for slow cooking is the essential element. The inner landscape is as important as the outer one, for there we find the peace necessary for deep ecstatic or transcendental experiences.
