Lets get whisked away on a culinary adventure together, this workshop pays homage to my family roots tucked away in the ancient town of Anjara, in Northern Jordan. Honey, lemon, olives, za’atar + cardamom are some of the ingredients that will orchestrate a symphony of flavors that you could only otherwise get under the desert sky. Recreating my grandmother's recipes, you'll be welcomed into my kitchen and spice pantry mastering the fine art of cooking an authentic Middle Eastern meal. Join me at the table sharing these authentically prepared dishes family style, creating an intimate experience of tearing into pipping hot pita and sharing with the person sitting across from you, simultaneously engaging all your senses.
I live out my passion daily creating locally sourced, seasonal and organic food experiences for all to enjoy. While journeying throughout the Middle East, I cultivated my craft-mindfully creating inspired menus using the best ingredients possible. My Jordanian and Syrian background play the largest role in my love for hospitality and traditional Middle Eastern dishes. Not only did I grow up eating this food but I can still remember being a small girl on the roof top of my grandparents home in Jordan on warm summer evenings while my Teta (grandma) fried freshly harvested okra. I can still recall my grandfather giggling with delight the first time I sat at the table and learned to roll my first dolma. The connection I have to the dishes we will create together is pure nostalgia and that is the experience I hope to share with all of you.

I can not think of a more perfect setting to share this experience with you other than my favorite place to cook, in my family home. We will be using my spacious semi professional kitchen and garden with full access to all of my spices that I bring from Jordan each time I go.
