I will take you in the morning from Sofia and we will start to travel for about 1:30 - 2 hours away from Sofia. After this time we will reach The biggest and most important orthodox cloister in Bulgaria - Rila monastery. We will stop for detailed walk in the monastery and I will tell you all of the history of the monastery. After that we will proceed to the cave of the St Ivan Rilski - miracle-worker and is the most honored Bulgarian holy man – his cave is believed to be a sacred place.
After that we will go back and stop for lunch in one of the local restaurant where we take a little rest and enjoy the lokal food (Lunch is on set menu prepared in advance). After the lunch we will return on Sofia and visit Boyana church - another UNESCO site. It was added to the World Cultural Heritage List in 1979. At the end of our tour I will return you back in your address from where we start.
