We will start our experience with a traditional German beer, wine or cocktail in my patio overlooking my lush and tropical, lakeside back yard.
Then we move into my dining room/kitchen to prepare our German meal.
I will guide you through aspects of German food culture, seasonal customs and will advise you of Tampa Bay's local local European shops that have German specialty items and ingredients available.
We will cook a typical seasonal three-course menu with a healthy and delicious take on German cuisine.
The Class will culminate, as we enjoy our home-cooked meal together, family style, with beer and wine around my dining room table.

Before coming to America, I worked many years in the Hospitality industry at a Caribbean & German hotel/restaurant in Jamaica, West Indies. I have passed down the German recipes I grew up with, to my son, but want to share my German cooking techniques from my culture by inviting you to cook and eat with me —family style.

- Beatrice is a talented chef that showed me how easy a gourmet meal is to prepare. She was able to accommodate my gluten sensitivity with a menu tweak, which was great. I highly recommend this experience even if you are a beginner cook. I was able to participate in making the meal with Beatrice. It was a really lovely evening of great food, wine and conversation.
- Cooking German with Beatrice was an amazing experience. She is very knowledgeable about German cuisine and we thoroughly enjoyed talking about our lives while we cooked. We got to dig right in and help prepare the meal and Beatrice gave us copies of all the recipes so we can make them at home. I highly recommend this experience to anyone.
