Seniors’ enjoy watching a talented chef combine unexpected Sonoran Desert edibles into delicious meals for 4-6 people. Food tastings “as you go” with a detailed presentation of the history of Tucson’s Foodies.
Myself and two other chefs in Tucson are “Improving Seniors Lives Through Food.” We all have many years of culinary training, education and experience and love the unique Sonoran Desert dishes that will feature ingredients that are unique to this area, such as prickly pear cactus. Some spicy, some not.
Chefs will show off their knife skills and prepare a delicious Sonoran Desert specialty dish in a full service kitchen and dining area near the University of Arizona campus in Tucson, AZ.
