In this fun class, you will learn how to make both sweet and savory crepes. You will also learn about the rich history of the Crepe. We start by learning how to masterfully prepare the batter. Next we will learn the technique that creates the perfect crepe. As the main course, we will make a classic savory ham and swiss cheese crepe or "galette". Second, we will make a sweet crepe with traditional french crepe filling and various fruits. Come hungry! You will definitely make enough crepes to keep you full. *If you have a gluten sensitivity, gluten free batter will be provided. Please let me know in advance so I can prepare a batch of gluten-free batter. We love private parties! This is perfect for a company team-building activity.
I come from a multicultural family and grew up with food that literally comes from opposite sides of the planet. My mother is French and my Father is Japanese. Over the last few years I have made it my mission to carry on my mother's French heritage of making crepes. I've enjoyed making crepes for my family and friends.
