We meet for a cup of coffee and taste a typical local pastry COCA DE PATATAS in the old Valldemossa café. After I take you on the ART STORY tour to places related to mallorquin extraordinary painter Pilar Montaner. I tell you a lot of personal knowledge about her life and life conditions of that time. Certain details are also connected to Czechia through the traveller, writer and special history figure Archduke Ludwig Salvador. I will reveal to you some controversial information about an abandoned house, which was illegally taken away from Montaner family. We'll go for a long walk to ancient olive trees area, which you’d hardly find yourself. I'll bring prints of Pilar Montaner's paintings and we'll search together for those particular trees she painted with all her passion. She had 14 children, was known as “permanently pregnant”, still creating profound art pieces. Later I'll take you to the private garden of Pilar Montaner's granddaughters, Catalina and Elvira. We will visit little sculptural studio of Catalina. Special treat would be a personal meeting with her, or with Elvira, or even both, if we are lucky. I'll host you in the garden and show you some private art pieces of the family. During our tour I take photos of you in my style and create a digital photo collage, which you receive via e-mail in a couple of days.
Dear friends around the world. I'm living in Prague and work in publishing. Studying Fine Art Photography at Silesian University I also work on art&photo projects on beloved island Mallorca. My main topic is a story of czech and mallorquin connection from 19 - 20th century through the Habsburg family member Archduke Ludwig Salvator, who lived and died in Czech town Brandýs nad Labem. Connected to that are also various activities to recover name of the forgotten Mallorquin painter Pilar Montaner, who lived and created in these times, met the Archduke and was an important society figure. I've been in close contact with her granddaughters, Catalina and Elvira, we work together on a set of projects to establish a decent conditions for "A Tribute to Pilar Montaner". I research and develop this project since 3 years and have much to share.

Pastisseria, the former palace of Pilar Montaner and her husband Joan Sureda, the abandoned villa of Montaner's family illegally taken away from them and ruined, the Sureda granddaughter's private summer house with a sculptural studio, the local graveyard with special atmosphere. Extension of the tour is the visit of the old olive trees area of Vistamar, which Pilar painted and Archduke Ludwig Salvador protected (depends of the interest).
Depending on your situation we can possibly meet in Palma and go to Valldemossa together.
