This tour starts next to the tiger statue in front of the Oslo Visitor Centre at Jernbanetorget, in central Oslo. Most buses, subways, trams and trains stop at Jernbanetorget. After we meet, we will take the Røa Line to idyllic Røa. We will slowly hike down towards the Lysaker river. I will show you a charming and accessible path along the riverbank. You will love it! Norway is a land of waterfalls and some of them (small but powerfull) are located right in Oslo - we will them it as well. We will cross bridges, enjoy waterfalls, frothing rapids, lush trees and the twitter of birds. The trip finishes at Jar station where we will hop on the metro and arrive back at Jernbanetorget. During this tour you will see the real oasis of wild nature not far from the city center.
Hi! My name is Einar, I have been living in Oslo for more than 50 years. From early age I have been in love with nature and forests. My hobbies are hiking, skiing and meeting new people. What's why I created a travel company that offers unique hiking experience in the forests of Oslo. Nature in Norway is amazing, we have lakes and fjord here, green forests and mountains, as well as nice views to the Oslo fjord. As a local I know every path in the forest. I will try to take great care of you and show the best views to Oslo fjord. The main purpose is to make you happy as well as presenting a forest we are very proud of, and hopefully you will leave with a wonderful memory.
