We will meet in the famous Sydney Fish Market. The market sits on the Blackwattle Bay foreshore in Pyrmont. It is the world's third largest fish market. We will do a tour around the market and I will tell you the history of the place and some more curiosities. We will buy some seafood (prawns, mussels and calamari) to prepare our most popular Spanish dish PAELLA. We will get the Light rail to go to my home only 2 stops from Fishmarket. On our way, we will cross by TRANSHEDS, a unique industrial style food precinct. Tramsheds is Sydney’s one of the most exciting food and lifestyle destination, housed in the former historic Rozelle Tram Depot. Once in my cosy home, we will cook a Seafood Spanish Paella. I will teach you some tricks from my mum. Finally we will seat all together to eat the seafood paella and I will tell you some curiosities about my country or my travels experience, as you wish as I am a very talkative person!
Originally from Spain, I am a global traveller who grew up in Spain around my mum’s kitchen. It is with her that I learned to talk, walk, and cook all at the same time! My specialties among many others are mainly traditional spanish recipes. Aside from cooking, one of my other passions in life is travelling. I’ve lived in the USA, France, Italy, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Greece and now I’m enjoying my life in this amazing city, Sydney. The more I travel, the more friendships I make! I really enjoy inviting my friends over to my house to taste and enjoy my delicious Spanish dishes!
