We are giving to all couples that book in March a free ride: if midday we pick you up, for dinner we take you back home. My advice, come early & visit the beautiful Tigre with it’s boats and islands and you’ll discover a totally different city. Burn some calories (and prepare yourself for the “Asado”) walking around and taking astonishing pictures until 7pm when we will receive you for an excellent evening.. We will receive you with a typical drink (Fernet) and some local starters while we take care of one of the main things: the ritual of lighting the fire. After the light is on, we will learn how to differentiate the cuts of meats and how do to season each one of them in order to gain the best tastes. We will then learn how to place each one of them in grill and we will prepare two different sauces: "Criolla" & the famous "Chimichurri", both to taste them with the typical “Choripan”. As the night advances we will change the Fernet for a Malbec and you will taste "achuras" and then the main dish (meat and pork, and maybe fish!) all with vegetable siders also grilled in the bbq. For dessert a typical argentine one :) Apart from learning and eating you’ll have an excellent evening and maybe make new friends.
I’ve been attending “Asados” since I can recall and I first started making the first ones at the age of 16. Now, with 40 years and a lot of experience I love sharing my knowledge with everyone: meat, pork, fishes or vegetables; smoked or not; the choices are many but what doesn’t change is the magic moment. My wife and me we both love hosting events in our house and we will make sure you'll have a great time. Carolina is a great host and this experience couldn't have been created without her, she does not only gives me a great hand with the "mise en place" but most of all, she is a great talker and you will love her. We both speak Spanish, English and French. We also love chilis in a small pot in the back of the garden which we use to make different sauces that you will have the opportunity to taste.
Appetizers, Fernet, Meat & Pork, vegetables, wine and a dessert! For veggies: you will be able to choose between various…
About a year ago we moved with Carolina 20’ away from the city to a house of dreams with a beautiful garden. As we both love hosting events and meeting new people, especially from other cultures, as from January 2020 we decided to open the house and share our small world with everyone else.
El "Asado" es la comida icónica para Argentina, no solo por la calidad de la carne del país sino también por lo que representa la reunión. Es un ritual que comienza en el momento en que el fuego se aligera y dura no menos de 3 horas, así que prepárate para disfrutar.
