After collection by boat we’ll take you directly to the fishing grounds to start your experience. If you have no knowledge of fishing I will give you lessons in the finer art of angling. A lesson in saltwater fly fishing is part of the experience.
Why not try fishing from the only licensed saltwater fly-fishing boat in Ireland in the second largest natural harbour in the world? A safe harbour in most weather, shelter can normally be found easily if conditions are rough.Your guide, Commander Richie Ryan (Retired) of the Irish Navy, has built up a huge knowledge of bass fishing, in particular, over the last 30 years.Also available on fly are pollack, mullet, cod , mackerel, garfish etc All other methods of fishing are also available and the boat is ideal for small groups- max 3 . The boat leaves from Cobh Co. Cork. The charge is €80 per hour for the boat, not per person , and all equipment is included. 3-4 hours is normally a good session. Bring your own food and wet weather clothing if required.
