This hands-on wood fired pizza class is an informative and delicious way for foodies to learn how to cook their own thin crust pizza! When you arrive, you will be greeted with a glass of champagne, an apron, and some delicious wood fired bites. We will start the class by going over our work horse; the oven. You will learn all there is to know about starting your fire and getting the oven up to temperature, along with some very interesting wood fired history. From there, we will dig into your 3-part course: Part 1: Dough Take a deep dive into how you can create your own delicious pizza dough at home. Part 2: Sauce Learn how you can make consistent and delicious homemade pizza sauce. Part 3: Pizza Time Here is the fun part; you will work 1-on-1 with the chef to create your very own pizza, choosing from a plethora of fresh, unique toppings. Next, you will be guided through cooking your pizza in the wood fired oven at 900° F! Once your pizza is cooked (in 60-90 seconds), you will sit down and eat it with a perfectly paired glass of wine while you relax by the fire at our beautiful venue. *I can accommodate all dietary restrictions & preferences. I am the CEO and co-founder of Forno Piombo, a wood fired pizza oven manufacturing company that is based out of Napa, California. I started this company with my father in 2014, and since then we have built over 500 pizza ovens for homes, restaurant, and wineries all across the country. Over the past 6 years we have had the opportunity to work closely with some of the most talented and innovative pizza chefs in the world to curate a fun, informative and delicious wood fired pizza making class that let's you explore not just the culinary side of pizza, but also the pizza oven itself.

We will be working out of Kitchen Collective, a private, members-only cooking club located in the heart of Downtown Napa. We will have exclusive access to its state of the art commercial kitchen, patio, and private dining room.
