We will start our 2-hour-long walk by the Stewartby Lake, which hosts many aquatic birds. We will learn the very basics of birdwatching and proceed to the Forest Centre through a footpath among bushes and trees. On the way, we will stop now and then to practise bird identification. The Forest Centre leads to the Wetlands Nature Reserve. Once in, we will visit its four hides. From each hide, we will have the chance to spot new species and learn about their particular features. Back to the centre, we may have some tea and share our pictures.

I am a birder wherever I go. My journey began with 9 years old in the school yard and at home, but soon continued in different corners of Catalonia, València, Tokyo, Singapore and now the Midlands of England. Always admiring birds, loving birds, learning from birds. I am looking forward to introducing everybody to the most rewardable world of birdwatching. I also collaborate with ICO (Catalan Institute of Ornithology).
The entrance fee to the Wetlands Nature Reserve is included with the activity.
