A day-hike usually takes 4 to 5 hours, depending on your pace and how long you'd like to swim and take photos. We'll meet at the jump-off in the morning (8 or 10 am), take a habal-habal (motorcycle), trek, cross a river, climb up slippery boulders, pass by waterfalls, meet some locals, see some farm animals, and trek until we get to the peak. We can climb back down as the sun sets or you may want to wait for the stars and city lights. We can cook dinner and have a little drink (you can buy your preferred food at the meet-up place). For night treks, kindly bring a headlamp or flashlight.
Hi there! Let me share with you my love for mountains, nature and adventure. I've been a mountaineer since 2008 and been to some of the known peaks in the Philippines. I got a certificate in Basic Mountaineering Course (7 modules) and in Bushcraft. I've come back and again to my favorite, Sirao Peak, more than 60 times! I will keep you safe and guarantee that you will have a most enjoyable experience.
I can provide a cook set upon request.
All this nature and adventure is right in the middle of Cebu City. We start trek in Talamban and exit all the way up in Busay.
Backpack (waterproof your things). Pack light!
Beginners and first-time trekkers are able to do this activity. However, it's still best to be physically and mentally prepared. We'll be in the mountains and emergency exit points are available but limited. Please prepare around Php200-250 for the motorcycle rides and registration fee.
