You will join me for semi-private* paddle board adventure on beautiful San Carlos Bay and Matanzas Pass. I will take you paddle boarding to areas you might miss or be nervous about paddling to on your own. On this adventure you will paddle, picnic and play on the water and beach. We meet by the floating dock next to the pool at the Matanzas Inn and start by going over safety tips, sizing your paddle and learning the best way to get on a board. Next we will paddle in the canal until every one is comfortable maneuvering on their SUP. Then we will head out into the Harbor where we will paddle towards Bowditch Point and Bunche Beach to explore the tide pools, sandy beaches and mangrove lined shorelines in search of marine life, we may see yachts and sailing vessels. Cross your fingers for a manatee, sea turtle or dolphin sighting! I will personally photograph and video your adventure. It's like Gilligan said the 3 hour tour! Maybe 4! I will adjust the route in accordance to the weather conditions and your group’s experience level. *This adventure involves some inherent risk and physical exertion, so you must be in good physical condition without any recent surgery, heart condition, pregnancy, disability or injury. You should know how to swim, (or wear a life vest if you do not) and feel comfortable in water. We cannot guarantee you will not fall off the paddle board.
I founded Sea Dog Eco Tours because I am passionate about hosting the kind of water adventure I would enjoy. What does that mean for you? It means I can manage the tides and navigation for you as well as help you get comfortable with paddle boarding as we soak up the sun and get closer to nature. We will explore the beautiful beaches and bays in search of sea creatures while immersing ourselves in the experience. I have been boating all my life and in love with paddle boarding in 2011. I'm a certified paddle board instructor with PaddleFit & the World Paddle Association including SUP Yoga. I moved to Florida and gave up co-owning an Outfitters in Michigan to full-fill my dream of living on a sailboat where I can paddle board everyday.
