This tour is for certified people only. Please remember to take with you your certification along with your passport (a picture of them is enough). If you're not certified please let us know and we will arrange something for you. The tour starts at 7:00 am. We'll head to the Catalina's Islands where we dive (or you can snorkel if you prefer) and show you the beautiful sea-life of this paradise we call home. Catalina's Islands is an area of about 17 rock formations so that we can always find the best spot for diving (depending on water conditions). You might see whitetip sharks, eagle rays, manta rays, big schools of fish, turtles, sea stars, sea horses, and if you are lucky dolphins or whales depending on the day and season. You won't be disappointed! Our tour includes transportation, 2 tanks dive, all equipment, snacks and soft drinks on board. We'll be back at our diving center around 12, 12:30 pm. Pick up at your hotel can be arranged in the Tamarindo area, free of charge. IMPORTANT NOTICE Some people can experience motion sickness. In order to prevent it, we recommend you take a tablet 30 minutes to an hour prior to the boat trip. You can also prevent it following these tips: - Eat light meals or snacks 24 hours before traveling, and try to avoid big or high-fat content meals - On the boat, ask to seat in the front and keep your eyes fixed on the horizon or land.

Tamarindo Diving Adventures
My name is Davide Gabbi and I am a PADI instructor since 1999. I've worked many years in Egypt for Emperor Diver, Ventadiving, and Valturdiving. I’ve had my own scuba diving center in Otranto, Italy and I’ve been in Maldivian Islands and The Cook Islands. I worked as a professional scuba diver in West Africa and as a ROV pilot in Africa and the North Sea. I love what I am doing, I'm very passionate about it. Our center, Tamarindo Diving, has a team of 6 professionals. Laura, Eliane and myself will help you with anything you need once here and during your reservation process. Your safety will always be our priority. Since 2018 Tamarindo Diving has become the only TDI-SDI center in the whole Costa Rica.

At 7:00 am, we'll board our new boat which is moored in Tamarindo and head towards the Catalina's. Once reached the area, our captain will decide which are the best diving spots according to weather conditions. We will dive twice in 2 different locations. During the navigation from one diving spot to the other, on board we will be offering snacks and soft drinks. After our second dive, we'll be ready for our trip back to Tamarindo.
Ours is an eco-experience that doesn't provoke any harm to wildlife, on the contrary, it helps sensitizing people about the ocean contamination issue, protection of the environment, respect of any kind of wildlife, in particular the marine one.
