This experience is ideal for visitors to Logroño who have just arrived and wish to literally hit the ground running with an early morning jog in order to get their bearings and obtain an initial feel for the city. In small groups of up to six people, the aim is to give you a general overview of Logroño while providing you with the opportunity to ask any questions you may have regarding the rest of your stay in the region. I'd be delighted to offer any advice regarding wineries, bars, restaurants, nearby villages and anything else that you're interested in doing while here. On our run we'll stop when necessary to rehydrate, as well as at places of interest along the way, with the easy-paced route designed to energize and inform in equal measure. I'll meet you at your accommodation before we head off across the old town to begin a circular run along the Ebro that takes in the main landmarks within the parks that line the river. The route is no more than 8kms and the total time will not exceed 1.5hrs, with the pace being determined by the most inexperienced runner.
I've been an amateur athlete all my adult life and still regularly compete in endurance events, including trail and road running competitions as well as mountain bike races and sportives. Having previously hosted Airbnb guests in my home I now share my passion for running and the outdoors with visitors to Logroño. I am a qualified personal trainer with over 10 years' experience of preparing clients for various endurance events. Born in London to Spanish parents, in recent years I have lived for extended periods in Australia and Germany before finally settling in the wonderful region of La Rioja over 10 years ago. It's a place I fell in love with as soon as I arrived and my aim during our run is to show you why.
I always run with a backpack and will be happy to carry any belongings you wish to take, including drinks. A camera of some…
We'll take in the major sights along the River Ebro such as the Iron and Stone Bridges, Bodegas Franco Españolas, La Casa de Las Ciencias, La Plaza de Toros and Rioja Forum. With most hotels and accommodation being located south of the river, we'll most likely cross the city centre in order to get to the park meaning we'll also see La Redonda, El Revellín, Portales and other city-centre landmarks.
最多可有6位年满18周岁的参与者参加。 Please ensure that your level of fitness enables you to withstand an easy-paced run of approximately 6-8kms over a period of 1 - 1.5hrs.
Please feel free to contact me with any queries you may have either before or after making a reservation. I'm flexible with regard to the start time so please let me know if you'd like to begin either earlier or later than the published time.
