This tour will provide the guests with the unique opportunity to experience St Augustine from land and sea. The Matanzas Bay played an important role in the development of this Spanish colony as did many of the sites we will visit on foot.
We will meet at the Plaza de la Constitucion to begin our journey through history on our way to board the Victory III. Capture unique pictures of Castillo de San Marcos, The St Augustine Lighthouse, The Bridge of Lions and other important sites. Relax as you enjoy nature and catch a glance of dolphins, manatees and various bird species.
Once on land, we will continue with our walking tour of downtown St Augustine. you will walk through the art district alleys on your way to Aviles, the oldest street in the US. We will visit the Historic Civil Rights era Woolworth counter as we make our way to Flagler College, formerly the Ponce de Leon Hotel, and Hotel Alcazar, nowadays the Lightner museum. You will be amazed of the world's largest indoor swimming pool of its time and the opulence of the Flagler era.
Dear guests we have made some changes to our tour to ensure the safety and well being of all the participants during these challenging times. Face masks are required for all guests and guides; a public address system will be used to maintain distance, reduced group size. Private tours available just for your group as well as in Spanish

We will meet at Plaza de la Constitucion. There are parking options; It's surrounded by important landmarks you don't want to miss and is close to everything.
The boat tour portion will take us around Matanzas Bay. You will enjoy beautiful views of the waterfront, lighthouse and the Fort. The bay was central during the colonization.
Finally, we will visit Flagler College and Alcazar Hotel to glimpse at the opulence of the Flagler era.
