First things first we’ll start with introductions with your surf instructor, we’ll provide you with the surfboard and rash guard. We’ll jump right into action with a step-by-step land lesson where your surf instructor will help you understand the basics of standing up on your board. Land lessons usually end with safety and what you should know and be aware of before entering the water. With all this wonderful information we are now able to get our feet wet and jump in the water with your surfboards. While in the water you’ll be able to catch plentiful of waves with your instructor and take breaks when you need too. Lessons are normally 2 hours long so you’ll have a lot of time to have some fun in the sun.
Aloha my name is Nohea Kahaulelio. I am born and raised on the North Shore of Oahu. My family and I started this surf school 3 years ago but we have been surfing our whole lives. Our surf school provides you with the best time in the water where you will learn very important steps to surfing like a pro. We are very flexible when it comes to teaching certain levels from being a beginner to intermediate and almost advance. We’ll help guide and instruct basic surfing mechanisms and instruct etiquette. We hope you leave the water feeling full of waves and fun.

Our school teaches at two different locations depending on the swell. One of the locations is called Chuns Reef, a beautiful Northshore beach next to the well known “turtle beach” or Laniakea. The other beach is called Puena Point in the heart of Haleiwa Town. Both locations are known for its crystal clear waters and if you’re lucky Honus or turtles will come pop up near us. These locations are best for learning how to surf.
