体验内容

We will start from the famous hotel Jugoslavija, we will follow the river and visit the friendly swans of the Danube quay with a great view of the Belgrade War Island. Then we will pass through the green market that is on the main square, from there we visit two family-owned little craft shops (in one the time goes backwards!) that have been in the heart of Zemun for decades! Then it's time for a sweet pit stop, so we visit an amazing modern looking pastry shop with sweets that look and taste like they just arrived from Paris.

We will venture to the heart of Zemun, the Gardos tower, also known as the Millennium Tower. You get to climb the tower, get a beautiful view of Zemun and parts of New Belgrade. Just next to the tower, there is a beautiful cemetery that is definitely worth a visit. Going back to the center of Zemun, we get to meet Icarus (or at least its statue) and the magnificent Air Force Command Building which was damaged in the bombings of '99.

To conclude the tour we pay a visit to my favorite mean of transport, a train! Or to be more precise, a Yugoslav railway wagon on a hilltop 50m above the Danube where you can have a meal or a cup of coffee and sum up your Zemun experiences.

Hello!

I'm a graphic designer with an analog camera in his head.
I have lived in Serbia, the USA, and Belgium and had an opportunity to discover many great places but Belgrade is the closest to what I can call home. I got to know it inside and out through participating in different parts of its life, from living, studying and working here, being part of its film and music festivals to creating and supporting street art that is still around.

I am also a writer for the Belgrade Spotted by locals blog for more than two years now.
