There is no better way to see and experience Miami and South Florida than from the seat of a bicycle.
In a very small group, we will ride along a safe path away from traffic along the bay and take in the picturesque views. I'll take you off the beaten path so we could see and experience spots many locals don't even know about. On our adventure we'll encounter large birds, iguanas, and small wildlife. If we're very lucky we may spot a manatee, wild rabbit, eagle ray, dolphin, and even a crocodile (yes, not an alligator). Many of these locations are not accessible by car and best experienced on bicycle.
As we ride along scenic beaches, I will share the history and folklore about a few of the landmarks we will pass. Halfway through our adventure we can stop at a local Cuban eatery overlooking the water and allow time for guest(s) to enjoy a quick bite and drink.
Our bike tour is 17 to 20 miles total, we can shorten it at any time if all the guest(s) agree to. It's at an easy pace and we make stops along the way so most guests never even notice the distance.
***If you do not have your own bicycle then you will need to rent one for $20 each***
There is free parking at our meet up location. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes and clothing. Sunglasses, hat, etc.

I’m founder of the Miami Bike Scene and have lived in Miami, FL all my life. I provide a 'locals only' perspective to our bike tour guest(s) and have been cycling for 25+ years. I love to explore the city by bicycle and prefer to take the unbeaten path searching to experience hidden gems, picturesque views, local art, historic landmarks, and nature.

We’ll go all the way to a historic lighthouse on an island, ride along scenic beaches, explore an abandoned zoo, pass under a sea grape canopy, view a fossilized reef, see some wildlife, and enjoy the best skyline views Miami has to offer.

- Rydel provides a great experience. You get to see lot of of scenic places and also get your cardio in. I was running a bit late for my tour due to high traffic and Rydel was highly accommodating. Would highly recommend the tour to anyone visiting Miami. P.S - The ride is about 15 miles, make sure it is something you can do. There are currently no electric bike option, unless you bring your own bike. But Rydel did mention that he was considering have an electric bike as an option.
- Amazing experience! Definitely off the beaten path, smooth and with stunning views throughout. Who knew Miami’s islands had so much to offer! Rydel is a great host, is warm and offers a completely personalized experience. If you like not too strenuous bike rides, islands, beautiful views and sunsets and nature, don’t think twice! You can’t go wrong with this one!
- This is indeed a bicycle tour in paradise and I'd do it again every time! Rydel will take you on a lovely bike ride and you'll get to explore the Miami that is only known to locals. You'll get to visit various locations and Rydel isn't hesitant about sharing lots of history and fun facts about the places you explore. Definitely book this experience if you an afternoon of activity, fun, and exploration.
