In my experiences we were always having Turkish coffee after meal and I started to read my guests' fortune from the cup. This part became very popular and everybody started to ask about that. I believe, fortune telling from a coffee cup is in our bloods as Turkish people. From our childhood time, our mothers come together at home, drink Turkish coffee and immediataly close the cups for fortune telling. My mother, my grandmother and even grandmother's mother was born fortune teller so my expertise about that is genetic. We will meet at Grand Bazaar and after a short walk we will reach to the coffee-house where the best Turkish coffee is served. First we will talk about traditions of Turkish coffee, the best way to cook it, how it is served etc.. And of course the traditional funny stories about Turkish coffee. Then we will start to drink our coffees.

Hot, creamy and perfect Turkish coffee is included. It is served with water by the side. There is also a special small sweet…
The Grand Bazaar is the largest and oldest covered markets in the world. This dreamy area is a must for an Istanbul visitor. The coffee-house we will be having coffee takes place in Grand Bazaar and it is very old and historical. This is the best place to drink Turkish coffee because they constantly serve it in a very traditional way.
This is NOT a serious fortune telling event, don't expect to hear about your past and future. I don't really believe in reading fortune from a cup, but this is a very important tradition of Turkish culture and a funny experience. So let's have fun while getting a deeper look to Turkish culture.
