We had a fantastic time on this snowy adventure with Amber! Our group of five included a toddler, and this experience was perfect for all ages. The short hike was easy enough to accommodate everyone while still feeling like a fun little trek through a beautiful winter wonderland. There was tons of snow when we went, and we had a blast sledding and playing. Amber was so thoughtful and well-prepared. She brought fun snow toys that made snowballs shaped like hearts and ducks (our toddler was obsessed!) and even a snowman kit that brought out the kid in all of us. And let’s not forget the cherry on top: Amber treated us to delicious coffee with Baileys, which hit the spot and added that extra cozy touch for the adults. Amber made the whole experience feel safe, fun, and stress-free. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a magical, family-friendly snow day. We’d do it again!

Today was my 3rd winter hike and snow play w Amber. I’m big on customer service and Amber is always proactive w information, timely and super friendly with tons of knowledge. She brings a very intimate knowledge of the area with personalization of each experience. Like I said this is my 3rd hike and 3rd location with a different and unique experience. She brought us hot drinks and a snow man making kit for the kids. Each time we’ve been in locations that are not overrun with foot traffic although I’m sure that’s bound to happen at some point, but luckily it hasn’t happened on my hikes. Your hikes can be as short or as long as you want them to be so again great customer service and value. We always have the best sledding areas as well. You don’t have to be on the side of the road searching for a decent spot or paying crazy prices and waiting in long lines to go tubing at one of those large venues. Amber is a great value and I highly recommend her.

Our experience with Amber was fantastic. It ended up just being my group (which included my significant other and pup), so Amber just chatted with us while we made our way up to the viewpoint that we were stopping at. She was lovely to talk to and helpful in talking about Big Bear's history, snowy locations, and, the most important thing in Big Bear, parking. My dog was able to go off leash and very much enjoyed herself as well. The viewpoint was beautiful and we left happy. We can't wait to look up Amber next year and see what good spots she has planned!

Amber was an amazing guide and was very informative of the area and history. She took us to an area where it felt we were the only ones there. She was kind enough to bring us hot chocolate and coffee which was awesome. Her great communication helped meeting up go as smooth as it could. My wife and I truly enjoyed ourselves and definitely would recommend you book a hike with her. Can’t wait to come back and do another hike whenever we come back.
