I will take you around the most eclectic and unexplored (also, too often, underrated!) neighborhoods of Paris: the 9th and the 2nd districts! (call them "arrondissements" in French) It's a must for tourists that is too often forgotten, especially when coming for a short week-end. In these neighborhoods where I grew up, you will find a folkloric atmosphere, with unique cafes, restaurants, blind alleys and magnificent "passages". I am very proud to having had the chance to live in such a joyful, popular and exciting neighborhood. The real life of a Parisian can be felt throughout these kind of streets, and not the crowded and stereotyped Champs-Elysées avenue, trust me ;) We will start off with the 9th, exploring streets, passageways and famous "brasseries", then stopping by the 2nd to admire beautiful graffities and to enter traditional and local shops. Get ready to snap the best pictures of your life!
Hello everyone! I'm Iris, a French and Italian native, who has been living in Paris for more than 20 years. I have always loved my 2 countries, but it turns out that I stayed in Paris to grow up and study. My father is a Photographer, and taught me photographing techniques, whereas my mother is an History of Art teacher, who handed on her passion for culture to her offspring :) As fashion consultant and communication manager, I have been working in the fashion world for several years between Paris, Milan and Florence. I will therefore be happy to empower bloggers and travellers to have an exclusive photoshoot in the most singular and quirky place of Paris! By living in downtown Paris, I am accustomed to walk and to get to know the best places to take you to shoot uncommon & astonishing pictures, to mesmerize your audience and follow
