Enjoy an evening in Downtown Pittsburgh, learning about the history of the city, discovering beautiful squares and pieces of architecture, while getting to see all the lights, a fantastic gingerbread house show, and unique holiday decorations. The grand finale of the tour will be a big Christmas tree surrounded by an ice rink, and last but not least: The central holiday market in town!
I followed my husband to Pittsburgh five years ago, and saw the opportunity to reinvent myself. Inspired by Michael's entrepreneurial spirit I decided to offer historical tours through Pittsburgh. Since I earned a Master's Degree in Art and Architectural History, and I used to live in Rome (Italy), Berlin (Germany) as well as New York City (all great places for art + architecture), I though this would be e great fit. So I founded Bike the Burgh Tours first in 2015, and added Walk the Burgh Tours a year and a half later. After two years of doing every tour myself, I found some equally passionate and enthusiastic, local tour guides who love this city and also strive for excellence. We love to show off our city, we love our job, and we love meeting people from all around the world! Come join us while exploring the Burgh!

You'll get to see the biggest nativity scene outside the Vatican, right in front of the tallest building in town; the City-County Building that hosts a unique gingerbread house show; the William Penn Hotel with a phenomenal Christmas tree on display; the old Horne's Dept. store with a tree hanging outside the building; the lights down at the Point as well as an ice rink that is slightly bigger than the one at Rockefeller Plaza in NYC :-)
