I'm Head Barista at the Pepper Pot Cafe, a charming bakery on the first floor balcony of the beautiful and historic Powerscourt Townhouse in Dublin's creative quarter. At the Pepper Pot, we are mainly known for our freshly baked breads and bagels along with the beautiful surroundings you can soak in while you eat. It's my job to ensure that our coffee meets these same high standards. I caught the coffee bug while working in Market Lane restaurant in Cork as a student. After moving back to Dublin I got a job in the Pepper Pot where I've spent the last three years honing my craft and improving our offering. My favourite part of my job is helping people understand more about the wonderful process that is brewing coffee.
Some freshly baked goods.
As much freshly-brewed espresso as you can drink.
The class takes place in Powerscourt Townhouse Centre - an elegant Georgian house that has been converted into a speciality shopping centre - centrally located just off Grafton Street. It's a beautiful place to spend a few hours, and we'll be there after it closes.
