First, gathering at the organizer's home. - My home is located very near from Gwangalli beach in Busan and it has being used a guesthouse. It's cozy simple place. I and the participants can cook eat foods in the public kitchen comfortably. Usually every ingredient already will be but sometimes if it's needed, we can come by the traditional market right next to the home before starting the cook trip. No added charge about this. Second, the organizer introduce 2-3 foods everybody will cook briefly and start to make together. Mainly two people will be a team. According to the recipe, first prepare the ingredients to a size that is easy to eat, cook them, and add the seasoning needed for each food. (A list of foods we'll make can be found on the picture of this trip). Finally enjoying our food. And you can take the leftovers if you want. I suggest you bring a small bowl.
I've lived alone for about 20 years and almost always traveled by myself. So I know a lot of 'simple but very delicious' Korean food recipes. It's very useful and also pleasant thing that I can cook the foods what I want. However it has become much more important since I've stopped eating all animals except chicken (Experts call this step pollo-vegetarian) I also have sometimes heard from foreign friends who are traveling in my country that it is very difficult to eat vegan food in Korea. Whenever they say like that, I wanted to let them know some of the nice recipes I know. In fact, many Korean foods are based on abundant grains and vegetables and it can be applied in various ways. This trip was inspired by vegetarian travelers but anyone can participate. If you just wonder Korean food culture and want to cook and eat together!
We'll have the foods we made together and can take it out.
