After picking you up in the place you're staying (or a midpoint in case we have different groups) we will visit the museum Dolores Olmedo, a museum with one of the largest Diego Rivera & Frida Kahlo's collection, among other unique pieces of art and Xoloitzcuintles (the mexican dog). After that we will go to the Trajineras of Xochimilco, a boat ride on what's left of the ancient water ducts, where the aztecs used to transport. There we will eat typical mexican food (tacos, quesadillas and sopes (veggie available) ) and taste different mexican beers (they can be three different mexican sodas if you don't drink alcohol). During all the experience we'll be chatting and learning about Xochimilco and it's cultural relevance in México. After that I'll take you back where I picked you up, hoping you had an amazing day. WARNING: In the rare case only one person takes the experience, I would have to meet you and leave you at the museum (Dolores Olmedo).
I was born and raised in Xochimilco. I grew up visiting the beautiful museum next to my house and partying with my friend at Las Trajineras. After studying communication I spent my time travelling around the World, and understanding what's necessary for a complete and enjoyable experience as a traveller.

We will have three different mexican beers. I consider that is a good amount for two hours (what the trajinera ride lasts)…

First we will park next to the museum I grew up with, where my parents have take every relative or friend Who visits them, and now I'm keeping the tradition alive. After that we will go to las trajineras, one of the most popular touristic places México City visitors, but for people from Xochimilco is the place where you have fun when you are a teenager, and now as an adult, a place that you want to maintain, preserve and respect.
I recommend to have a strong breakfast before I pick you up. If you get hungry quickly I recommend to bring a snack. I also recommend to bring one or two 5 pesos coins. This are for bathrooms fees in the Trajineras.
