IMPORTANT: The Colosseum is closed until the 3rd of April. I know that people travelling to Rome may still want a tour of the Colosseum so I am running experiences that will be conducted from some of the best viewpoints overlooking the Colosseum and Forum. Prices have been set accordingly. The most famous of Rome’s many ancient sights, the Colosseum is an imposing, incredible structure, that transports you back in time to the Roman Empire’s powerful past. From a fantastic viewpoint, myself or my co-host will delve into the mystery that shrouds the games held there and the fascinating stories of the famous gladiators who thrilled the crowds with their brutish fighting. After the Colosseum we will then walk to another fantastic viewpoint, overlooking the Roman Forum. Here you can marvel at the amazing views over the Imperial Forum, finding out about what life was like for the Romans of that era in the political, social and economic centre of the ancient city. Allow my co-hosts and I to captivate, amaze and indulge you in the real soul of Rome! All of my bespoke experiences have been carefully thought out in order to ensure you go home with a smile on your face, but most of all, with my infectious love for the eternal city!
I’m a foodie, a sports-fan and a history-buff from England. I first visited Rome whilst interrailing through Europe in the summer before I went to university - and instantly fell in love. It was then that I was introduced to the tourism industry, and I knew straight away that it was what I wanted to do in the future. I went back to England and studied at Bournemouth University where I graduated with a Business and Economics degree. During my time there I’d return to Rome during Easter and Summer to work in tourism, and to continue my studies of this wonderful, special city. In June 2019 Colin, Russ and I launched Carpe Diem Rome, which has been an amazing, life-changing experience for me - and I’d love for you to join me and be part of it!
