An introduction into the art of taxidermy will be given at the start of the day, including how to skin, clean, preserve and mount the specimen. All of the specimens have been responsibly sourced (nothing has been killed for the purpose of taxidermy, their deaths are not related to this art) The class includes the lesson, the specimen you will be working with (a rodent-large mouse) and all the supplies, including sculpting tools, mannequin forms and even some anthropomorphic accessories to decorate or dress up your mouse if you wish to do so! Glass domes will also be available for purchase at the class for £20. The end result will be a beautiful specimen that will be mounted on a small base as a souvenir of your visit.
