This experience is a chance to slow down and enjoy your life while experiencing a hidden gem in Austin. We'll meet at the verdant UMLAUF Sculpture Garden, which is situated alongside Austin's iconic urban green space, Zilker Park. After a warm welcome and introduction to the history of UMLAUF, you'll start with a gentle, centering mindful movement session designed for every body and experience level. The guided movement will calm your mind and prepare you for your walking meditation. Next, your guide and meditation teacher will offer a helpful overview on walking meditation to help you get the most out of the experience. Then we begin our slow, mindful walking meditation among fine bronze sculpture, babbling creeks, a lily pad-covered pond, blooming flowers, and swaying trees. We'll stop here and there for a moment to appreciate the beauty. Along the way, your guide will offer gentle mindfulness prompts to help keep you present. As you walk, you'll appreciate the beauty of the art and nature around you, tap into your inner peace, and feel gratitude for the privilege to experience it all. After the experience, you are welcome and encouraged to continue to explore the sculpture garden and art gallery on your own or continue on with your day elsewhere -- albeit with a new sense of calm and joy. This is a unique experience that will leave you feeling peaceful and joyful.
