We will pick you up from the agreed location. We will cook together a delicious 3 course meal, while sharing stories about Romania & our lifestyle. After cooking, we will enjoy the meal together and spend some quality time, serving a good Romanian wine and more stories about our countries. Food we will enjoy: - a nice starter, consisting of 2 types of Romanian cheese, cooked vegetables (zacusca), homemade bread & eggplant salad -Delicious vegetarian dish- local products only - main course: one of the most famous Romanian dishes – mouth-watering Sarmale (pork cabbage rolls) served with polenta and sour cream - traditional dessert: Poale in brau (sweet cheese pies), filled with fresh cheese and lots of raisins As drinks, we will serve good Romanian wines and bottled water. At the end of the meal, you will receive the recipes for all the dishes we served, in case you want to recreate them at home. During the meal, feel free to ask any questions you have. We are happy to share any information about our culture, traditions, and interesting places to visit in the city.
Hi! My name is Oana. I am a full time travel planner who enjoys exploring the world and being immersed in different cultures. I love cooking, preparing meals for my partner and also for friends. I`ve been doing it for more than 15 years, learning many recipes directly from my mother ever since I was a child. I enjoy playing with new flavors and cuisines, but also cooking traditional dishes, like sarmale (cabbage rolls stuffed with meat), mamaliga (polenta), different salads and soups. I would like to share some of these recipes with you, so you can experience a true Romanian meal, cooked by locals, with love and care.
