A bespoke hiking experience of a life time. We will climb to 1085m, the highest peak in England and Wales. The famous Snowdon Mountain, where the first Everest conquerers trained to summit the highest mountain in the World, Everest. Nestled at the foot of Snowdon, we will pass Pen-y-Gwryd Hotel, the training base camp for the Everest team.
Snowdonia National Park is a hikers paradise, you will be blown away by the scenic views and raw landscape. You will be greeted at an arranged meeting point.
You will be out in the fresh air for up to 8 hours. You will feel at ease on a relaxed hike with your local expert. Along the trails you will explore local history, welsh tales, waterfalls and glacier lakes. Perfect for a wild swim or a quick paddle. We will have plenty of rest breaks on the way for you to relax and bring out the inner photographer in you. After your hike, I can recommend the best places to eat for you to enjoy a good hearty meal.
I will also send you our scenic photos taken on our adventure for you to keep as a great achievement and happy memory.
Other things to note
If you enjoy tranquility, I would reccomend a midweek hike to avoid the crowds.
Please ensure you are fully equipped for the outdoors. Check the weather on the day (snowdonia.live / metoffice)

We will explore Snowdonia's raw landscape by foot. We will visit the National Park's glacier lakes and wild waterfalls escaping down the mountain. You will experience Welsh history of the copper mines and tales of Kind Arthur. You will reach Snowdonia Summit an iconic peak at an elevation of 1,085 metres above sea level. The highest point in the British Isles outside the Scottish Highlands.

- What can I say, totally worth it and would recommend to anyone who wants someone super friendly and experienced to guide you the whole way. We didn't ascend to the peak eventually due to our level of fitness but Gemma was so great with leading us the whole way in the snowy landscape today. Gemma also took some great pictures which was so appreciated. Would do this again 100%!
- I always wanted to climb up to the top of Snowdon, and thanks to Gemma my wish became reality. She was an absolutely brilliant guide! I felt safe from beginning to end, she was very knowledgeable about the hike and I felt at ease all the way to the top. Gemma knew the route like the back of her hand, and she was super friendly too. To top it all, I felt extremely lucky as I was the only person that day so I was lucky that Gemma still went ahead and didn’t cancel due to the inconvenience of having just one person booked. I would highly recommend Snowdon Hikes to anyone with little experience in hiking but still looking to enjoy getting to the top very safely. You might also learn some Welsh on the way... lol Go with Gemma, you won’t regret it!! :)
- We had a wonderful day with Gemma and the rest of the group. Gemma is certainly an expert, and shared her passion throughout the experience. The hike was challenging, but definitely manageable with the guidance from Gemma. She made sure everyone felt comfortable throughout the entire day, and helped keep us on pace so that everyone could reach the summit safely. Highly recommend!
