This experience is interactive and fun, while leaving you with techniques and recipes to impress your friends. Together, we will prepare a delicious and nutritious 3 course plant-based meal. You will be greeted with a welcome drink (wine) and then we will discuss the menu before you build your own appetizers. I will demonstrate some cooking techniques and ask you to participate in prepping, chopping, kneading and sauteing. We will cook dishes that look beautiful too as to encourage you foodies to be playful with your plating and take some stylish photos of your creations. You will get to know some of my tricks and tips for adapting to a healthy plant-based diet. I have been a passionate vegan for 8 years and have a wealth of knowledge from culinary courses, working in a professional kitchen and selling my famous raw vegan cakes. This is a great experience for anyone, whether you are vegan, omnivore, curious or just hungry! You will leave with detailed recipes for each dish, some beautiful photos for you to show off and a belly full of food.
This experience is co hosted by me (Michael) and Christina Soteriou who is the lead culinary instructor. She is a feeder and a foodie, with a true love for creating nourishing, delicious vegan dishes for others. Being from the island of Cyprus, her inspiration mostly comes from Mediterranean cuisine with a mix of Middle Eastern. She's worked in the hectic kitchen of a veggie cafe in Cyprus and also started a small business selling raw, vegan, gluten free cakes. Having recently eaten her way through street vendors and ramen bars all around SE Asia and Japan, she's developed a taste for Asian flavours and cuisines. In Thailand, she attended a Plant-Based Culinary School to make traditional and modern Thai cooking. In 8 years of being vegan, she has accumulated many tips, tricks and recipes that she will share with you.
