In this workshop you will explore the incredible photographic process of Cyanotype printmaking which produces destinct cyan blue images. The workshop takes place at Hout Bay Contemporary my studio gallery which is filled with beautifully curated works from myself and other local artists and designers. The workshop provides a complete overview of the printmaking process including an exploration of shadowgrams and printing with negatives. I go through each step in detail, all the while sharing with you my experience and unique tips and tricks. The workshop prices also include all materials, meaning it is not necessary to bring or prepare anything. My space can accommodate a maximum of six people, so groups are always small and the setting is quite intimate. Should prints not be dry enough to take home on the day I normally mail the artworks to the preferred destination for an additional fee relative to the guests country of origin. Workshops are from 10:00 - 16:00 and include a lunch break. I provide coffee, tea biscuits at no extra cost. For lunch I can recommend any of the surrounding restaurants in our shopping village called Fisherman's World in Mainstream Centre. All restaurants are within walking distance. Printmaking truly is my passion and I would love to share a day of creative expression with you. Note this workshop is dependent on sunny weather.
