Join me for a 1 hour Historical True Crime Tour of the Gaslamp Quarter in downtown San Diego. You will walk through several eras in time as you explore interesting stories of true crime. You will also learn the darker history of the Gaslamp Quarter, the area formerly known as the Stingaree.
We will take you through eras in time with our history of True Crime. Learn about how downtown San Diego first came to be and then the era of the Stingaree. You will learn of the first death on the tour at a historic hotel. This ghost is said to STILL haunt his room. Then you will travel in time to the roaring 1920’s; Murder, Revenge and Slavery. Next you will move forward a little over 10 years to become familiar with the 3rd victim of a San Diego Serial Killer. And last, we will share one of the most horrific crimes to take place in modern downtown San Diego.
* Please note due to the graphic nature of these murder cases we advise extreme caution for children under 13. This tour includes discussion of assault and murder, along with gruesome details that some may find offensive.

This tour is handicap accessible. You will cover approximately 1 mile over 1 hour. No food or drinks are served during the tour. Tips are not required, but are appreciated.

I love sharing the Gaslamp Quarter in a unique and fun way. Researching the information for this tour was so educational. It was exhilarating for me to take the dark history from this area and then create a historic true crime tour for others to enjoy. I have partnered with a long-time downtown resident who has an amazing passion for the Gaslamp Quarter. Robert Taryan, aka RT, has a background in the entertainment industry and knows how to bring the city to life. You will greatly enjoy his phenomenal story telling skills.

We will walk through the streets of the Gaslamp Quarter visiting the sites and key places related to some of the most notorious crimes and murders that took place in downtown San Diego.

- We LOVED the crime tour! It was our first time in San Diego and this was a great way of getting to know some of the history of town. We had an awesome time and our tour guide, Drew, was just the BEST, hilarious and personable. Highly recommend taking this tour !
