Each class begins with a discussion on Ayurveda to foster an understanding of how Ayurvedic principles are applied in the kitchen. This is followed by hands-on cooking and then we wrap up the session by sharing the wholesome meal we have prepared together.
Vegetarian Ayurvedic meal including a dish of legumes, two vegetables, roti, lassi and dessert. And of course, spiced chai.
This cooking class is offered out of my home in Los Altos, California. Weather permitting, we'll enjoy the meal in the backyard surrounded by healing herbs and the vegetable garden.
