The tandem paraglider is specially built to support the weight of 2 people: the pilot and the passenger. In order to be a passenger no previous experience is needed, you don't need to be particularely fit and we don't have any age requirements. The first step is reaching to our take off. Our take offs are located on mountain tops or high grassy fields which are easily accessible by cablecar or train. Once we get to the take off, it takes about 15 minutes to get ready for the take off. The tandem pilot prepares the wing, helps the passenger to gear up and gives the briefing to the passenger. In a few steps we are airborne and then you can relax and enjoy the flight. The landing is easy. We just make a few steps over the ground. Our landings are usually located close to our starting point, next to the cable car station or train station
My name is Iamina Ilea. I've been a full time professional paragliding pilot for the last 13 years both as an instructor and tandem pilot turning my passion into a profession. I've been running my own paragliding school in Romania, where I originally started paragliding for 8 years, and been doing cross-country guiding and running paragliding expeditions for paraglider pilots all around the world. I worked as a tandem pilot and instructor in Nepal and USA and finally found my piece of heaven in Switzerland, where I've been flying tandem for the past 2 years. I fly in overall around 400 flights per year with passengers from all over the world. Join me for a great adventure in the sky!
We provide the paragliding gear, camera, hiking boots, wind breaker trousers and jacket if needed.
We fly in Central Switzerland, always on the best spot according to the weather. Our exclusive main paragliding site and top choice is Mt. Pilatus, near Luzern, but if the weather conditions are not adequate or we have a special request from a passenger, we also fly Mt. Rigi, the Engelberg valley, Niederbauen, Egg Bergen near Fluelen or others.
