Hi there, foodies! I'm a Ukrainian girl living and loving my country, enjoying its' cultural weirdness, architectural contrasts and tasty borscht with salo. My mum tried to rise me as a very reliable housewife, it never happened, however, I learned how to cook absolutely delicious borscht and have fun hosting guests. I'm offering you to enjoy a very Ukrainian traditional activity. Hosting the Guests in the house - is a big thing in Ukrainian culture: the tables are full of food, the hosts are wearing their best outfit, the musicians are playing their best songs, every toast should be loudly pronounced. We will learn how to cook borscht and deruny, drink some Ukrainian traditional drinks and talk about life.
We will have a dinner that we will make on the spot (Borscht, salo, pickles, deruny)
We'll mostly spend our cooking and eating activity at my place - soviet spacious apartment in the heart of the most bohemian area - Podil.

Traditionally borscht contains meat, however, for vegetarians we can make a separate pot of borscht, which I bet won't be less delicious. For drinking I'm offering wine or flavoured vodka, tea, coffee, water.
