We’ll first hit a Flower Market. Here we’ll enjoy the bouquets of orchids, lotus, jasmine and myriad other flora from all over the country in an absolutely local atmosphere. Next we’ll cross the river to Wat Arun, or Temple of Dawn – Bangkok’s unmistakable landmark of postcard fame. Climb its tower to get the most spectacular views around the Chao Praya and Grand Palace grounds. Walking along the riverbanks, you can also catch sight of Kuan An Keng Shrine, Santa Cruz Church and Wat Prayurawongsawas. Afterwards, we’ll cross river once more to reach Wat Pho (Temple of the Reclining Buddha) – one of the city’s oldest and largest temples. Lunch is next on the cards; we’ll board a tuk tuk to reach a yum local restaurant before continuing to Wat Phra Kaew (Temple of the Emerald Buddha). While in the Sanam Luang area, we’ll also hit the dazzling Grand Palace for good measure. Our last stop of the day will be Wat Traimit, Temple of the Golden Buddha – for some, the highlight of any temple tour. It’s home to the world’s largest golden Buddha 5 meters in height weighing 5.5 tonnes (5,500kg)!
Hello, my name is Nice and I was born and raised in Thailand! One of my passions is to take people around and tell them about my country and culture. Along with my other tour guide friends, Bonnie (who has a lot of experience showing tourists around), Sam (who is highly knowledgeable about Thailand's history), and Kwan (who knows how to take awesome photos), we want to provide you with an authentic experience that you'll never forget. While we have partnered with TripGuru, a digital tour operator, our tours are all locally curated by my team, and are authentic and unique. So we invite you to join our tours, see things from our perspective, and allow us to show you our home our way. We look forward to meeting you!
