During this experience, you will learn to cook the famous "tacos al pastor" with my dad, a professional instructor and culinary artist, who will share his tips and recipes with you. After we meet, we'll take a trip to the local market to buy ingredients and learn more about Mexican spices and food. Then we'll return to my family home, where you will learn how to marinate the meat for the tacos. You will prepare red salsa, green salsa, and guacamole, and make your own tortillas on the traditional Mexican "comal"—a smooth, flat griddle. At the end, we'll put everything together to make the tacos, sit and enjoy what you have prepared, and learn a little more about Mexican gastronomy.
Drinks We'll provide traditional Horchata—a delicious rice-based beverage—and a drink made with Jamaica hibiscus flowers.
Equipment We will provide everything you need.
We will meet at my house and make a trip to the local market to get the ingredients we'll need. Then we'll be in the chef´s private kitchen with a warm, homey atmosphere. For the tasting, we will go to the garden to enjoy food and conversation.

We will give you the recipe at the end of the class. You can take the class in English, Spanish, or French. We can also offer a chicken and a vegetarian version.
