We will walk from the meeting point (my house) to La Concha beach. Once gathered in the shore, clients will be given a brief introduction on the principles of surfing. In the sand we will perform the specific warm-up. Subsequently, the client will learn the basic principles of surfing to begin with the class where the client will learn how to paddle and stand on the surfboard properly. Once the class is finished in the sand, we will enter the shore of the beach to practice basic surfing exercises such as learning to paddle to catch a wave, sit, turn and stand on the surfboard. During the activity, photos and videos of the experience will be taken. You will be provided with the necessary equipment for the complete experience and your total safety.
I am a Marine Biologist graduated from the University of Havana, a Cuban professional surfer and environmental activist. I'm certified by (AIDA) and accredited by the Cuban Federation of Underwater Activities (FCAS). Since small I have been passionate about the sea and marine life and also about the development of environmental protection activities in the Caribbean Sea Area. I am a promoter of several water activities such as sports surfing and swimming and my desire is to disseminate and promote awareness about marine life in the communities. I am passionate about marine photography and I have several projects in my resume that endorse it. I would love to be able to share my experience about marine life from my perspective as a biologist and athlete and raise awareness about the care of our environment.
We will welcome you in the house with a natural fruit juice and water.
Surfboard and safety equipment.
We will walk from the meeting point to La Concha beach. La Concha(The Shell) is an ecosystem where we find hundreds of coral reefs and marine species. It is a place of very easy access since the shore is sandy although in deeper areas the bottom is rocky.
