First and foremost, coffee. I would never expect you to take on any activity without a proper dosage of caffeine. We'll start by meeting at one of the most lauded coffeehouse staples in East Nashville: Bongo Java. *Ask about local favorite COFFEE-SODA* Once we've got those uppers in our veins, we can start our walk throughout Nashville's famous Five-Points neighborhood, stopping for photos along the way. In the provided pictures you'll see most of the mural hotspots, all of which are within comfortable walking distance. All East Nashville murals are accessible and seldom require any wait in line (BIG WIN). Plus after I take your photos, I can drop them all on the spot so you don't have to wait even a moment before filling your socials! *SPECIAL OFFER* I just bought myself a nifty little instant camera. For an extra $50 bucks I'll shoot a couple rolls of Polaroids for you to scrapbook or slap on a post card for your loved ones at home! When we're done shooting the glamour shots that'll make your hometown homies super jelly, we'll wander over to Five-Points Pizza to grab a slice of some of Nashville's finest comfort food.
I left a 9-to-5 desk job to travel the country in my 50 year old camper van, looking for a home away from home - I never turned back. About four years ago, I discovered the bustling creative climate hosted by Nashville, and I've worked tirelessly to contribute to this scene ever since. As a working photographer over the last five years, I've been working largely in the film/television circuit, taking behind-the-scenes photos on set, headshots and portraits for actors, lifestyle pictures for athletes, and (most commonly/effectively) some GOOD OLD-FASHIONED Instagram fodder. As such, I've become specialized in grabbing folks' photos in their element - a service I'd be glad to provide for you and your friends!
Obviously I'll bring the camera gear, that should be no surprise. More importantly, I promise to bring the good time. I'm one…
The murals of East Nashville have a tendency to be tucked into alleyways and slapped on the walls of miscellaneous hole-in-the-wall bars. To find the murals we'll be stopping by one of East Nashville's sleekest coffee shops, one of its most famous stages, one of its hippest pizza joints, and several of its beautiful city blocks.
I'll come prepared with a bluetooth speaker for some tunes as well as a chit-chatty attitude. But if you're the type of group that wants the photographer to work silently while you enjoy the company of your friends, just let me know!
